A Couples adventure in the city

A+A travelled all the way from their home in Bangkok, Thailand, for their pre-wedding session in Edinburgh. The day served some serious weather and even better vibes!

When Alex and Armand, all the way from bustling Bangkok, set their sights on Edinburgh for a pre-wedding photoshoot with a Scottish twist, I knew we were in for something special. Forget the clichés; we ditched Glencoe and opted for a gritty blend of highland vibes and urban exploration right in the heart of Edinburgh, just days before their big day at Glenbervie House.

Highland-Inspired Urban Exploration

For their alternative pre-wedding session, we decided to trade the expected Highland landscapes for the less conventional backdrop of Edinburgh's Old Town. Cobblestone streets, historic nooks, and crannies provided the perfect canvas that was as unique as the couple themselves.

We started by grabbing some coffee on Cockburn Street before making our way round town to tick off some of the iconic locations including The Vennel and the Writer’s Museum.

Scaling Heights: Arthur's Seat & St Anthony's Chapel Ruins

Our mini adventure continued down The Royal Mile and then upwards as we ascended Arthur's Seat, not for the typical panoramic views, but to capture the rustic charm of St Anthony's Chapel Ruins against the city skyline.

July Showers & Moody Moments

July in Edinburgh hopefully means (at least a little bit of) sun, but on this day, Alex was really hoping for moody vibes. Thankfully, Edinburgh decided to play along, surprising us with stormy clouds and a somewhat refreshing shower. Soaked to the bone, we embraced the unexpected! No frills, no cheesy poses—just a genuine connection captured in the unfiltered elements of the city.

So what began as a Bangkok-to-Edinburgh journey turned into an urban adventure that defied expectations. A+A's pre-wedding session wasn't about picturesque landscapes or staged moments; it was about authenticity and capturing love in its purest form and Edinburgh’s unfiltered charm.

This Edinburgh pre-wedding session was perfection, and probably one of my favourite sessions to date!
