I am an Edinburgh lifestyle family photographer, and my sessions are all about genuine connection, real laughter, and capturing the heart of your family just as you are. No stiff poses. When you book an outdoor family session with me, we head to one of Edinburgh’s beautiful beaches, parks, or forest walks. I am always happy to suggest some of my favourite locations, but if there is somewhere special to your family, a park you always visit or a beach you love, we can absolutely go there too. These places often hold so much meaning, and it shows in the photographs we create together.
What Happens During a Family Photography Session
My family photography sessions are designed to feel like a relaxed adventure, not a formal photo shoot. We spend around an hour together, exploring, playing, laughing, and letting the kids lead the way. There is no pressure to perform for the camera.
Whether your little ones are shy and need time to warm up, or they are bursting with energy and ready to explore, I am here to capture the magic exactly as it unfolds. There is no right way to be. It is about connection, play, and being yourselves.
I find that outdoor family photoshoots are so much easier and more enjoyable for kids than a traditional studio session. They can run, jump, collect sticks, splash in the sea, and I am right there with my camera, capturing those real, joyful moments.

What You Will Receive
After your session, you will receive a gallery of around 70 carefully hand edited images. You will have full download rights to your gallery, so you can easily share your memories with family and friends.
You will also get access to a private online store where you can order prints, frames, albums, and other beautiful products if you would like to turn your memories into tangible keepsakes (highly recommend!)
